I don’t care how magical it looks when it snows after those flurries become dirty slush, those dismal, dreary winter feels start to settle in. It finally appears like spring has sprung translation: you’ll be able to really place away your chunky sweaters and thick wool coats and swap in things like denim jackets (can we tend to get a hell yeah?!), float dresses, and fancy blouses that demand to be seen. Now, what to wear? No worries, we’re here to help.
It’s such a cliché to talk about the weather, but when you’re covering a month of fashion shows widely considered plush, leisurely events, but ones that actually require a lot of time outdoors and on your feet temperatures and precipitation make a big difference. In Paris, the air was crisp, the sun was shining, and we saw some of the week’s best looks. Some ladies we all know packed entire suitcases of romantic, voluminous floral dresses, which make an easy, effortless impact; others showed up in retina-searing neons, the direct result of a single Fall 2018 show; and plenty of ladies looked as if it would reject the concept of trends altogether, protruding to a combination of chic, everyday button-downs, jackets, and trousers.
When it comes to choosing a great outfit, there are a lot of options for color. You can’t go wrong with the brightest shades of the rainbow. Floral prints will always be a classic for warmer weather, and light jackets and sweaters will keep you warm and looking good when done right.
